    How to: Weighted Plate Bent Over Row

    1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a weight plate in your hands.
    2. Bend at the hips until your torso is nearly parallel to the ground.
    3. Keep your back straight and allow your arms to hang down.
    4. Pull the weight towards your chest, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
    5. Lower the weight back down and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

    Common Mistakes

    • Using too much weight, which can compromise form.
    • Lifting the elbows higher than the torso.
    • Not engaging the core while performing the movement.
