    How to: Back Relaxation

    1. Sit on a stability ball with your feet flat on the floor.
    2. Lean backward slowly, allowing your back to relax against the ball.
    3. Extend your arms above your head or cross them over your chest.
    4. Hold the position for 15-30 seconds while breathing deeply.

    Common Mistakes

    • Overextending the back while stretching.
    • Holding the breath instead of breathing deeply.

    Modifications

    • Perform the stretch with feet on the floor for additional stability.
    • Limit the range of motion if experiencing discomfort.

    Tips

    • Ensure your lower back is supported by the stability ball.
    • Relax your head and neck as you stretch.
