    How to: Finger Flexor Stretch

    1. Extend one arm in front of you with your palm facing up.
    2. With the other hand, gently pull back on the fingers of the extended hand.
    3. Keep your elbow straight and feel the stretch in your forearm and fingers.

    Common Mistakes

    • Overstretching the fingers
    • Not holding the stretch long enough
    • Neglecting to support the forearm properly

    Modifications

    • Perform the stretch while seated for better support.
    • Use a rubber band around your fingers for added resistance if needed.

    Tips

    • Keep your upper arm still while stretching your fingers.
