    How to: Seated Straight Leg Calf Stretch

    1. Sit on the floor with one leg extended straight.
    2. Bend the other leg and place the foot against the thigh of the extended leg.
    3. Reach towards the toes of the extended leg while keeping your back straight.
    4. Hold the position for 20-30 seconds, then switch legs.

    Common Mistakes

    • Bending the back while stretching.
    • Not holding the stretch long enough.

    Modifications

    • Perform the stretch with a towel around your foot for extra support.
