How to: Cable Russian Twists (on stability ball)

    1. Sit on a stability ball with a cable attached to an anchor on your side.
    2. Grab the handle and lean back slightly while keeping your feet flat on the ground.
    3. Rotate your torso to one side, pulling the cable across your body.
    4. Return to the starting position and then rotate to the opposite side.
    5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

    Common Mistakes

    • Arching the back instead of keeping it straight.
    • Not engaging the core muscles effectively.
    • Using too much weight and losing form.

    Modifications

    • Perform without the stability ball for better balance.
    • Reduce resistance on the cable for an easier version.

    Tips

    • Engage your core throughout the movement.
    • Maintain a neutral spine to avoid strain.
    • Control the movement and avoid using momentum.
