How to: Diagonal Flexion Neck Stretch
Sit or stand upright with good posture.
Tilt your head diagonally towards your shoulder while keeping the opposite shoulder down.
Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, feeling the stretch along the side of your neck.
Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
Common Mistakes
Overstretching and causing discomfort.
Forgetting to breathe or holding breath during the stretch.
Not aligning the body properly, leading to ineffective stretching.
Modifications
Perform the stretch while seated to provide additional support.
Use a towel to assist in the stretch if reaching your head is difficult.
