How to: Dip on Floor with Chair

    1. Place your hands on a chair behind you, fingers facing forward.
    2. Extend your legs out in front of you with feet flat on the ground.
    3. Lower your body by bending your elbows while keeping them close to your sides.
    4. Push back up to the starting position.

    Common Mistakes

    • Flaring elbows outwards too much.
    • Not lowering the body enough.
    • Using momentum instead of strength.

    Modifications

    • Perform with feet on the ground for less intensity.
    • Use an elevated surface for easier motion.

    Tips

    • Keep your elbows close to your body.
    • Lower your body until your arms are at a 90-degree angle.
    • Use a stable chair to avoid accidents.
