How to: Triceps Stretch
Stand or sit upright and extend one arm overhead.
Bend the elbow, reaching down the center of your back.
With the opposite hand, gently pull the elbow toward the body to deepen the stretch.
Hold this position for the desired time, then switch sides.
Common Mistakes
Overstretching the arm, which can lead to injury.
Not aligning the body properly during the stretch.
Modifications
Use a towel to assist in the stretch if you cannot reach your hands.
Tips
Hold the stretch for at least 15-30 seconds.
Do not force the stretch; go just until you feel a mild tension.
Breathe deeply and relax your shoulders.
