How to: Cable Incline Skull Crusher

    1. Set the cable at a high position and attach a straight bar.
    2. Stand facing away from the machine and grasp the bar with both hands.
    3. Step forward to create tension in the cable.
    4. With elbows stationary, lower the bar towards your forehead.
    5. Extend your arms back to the starting position, fully contracting your triceps.

    Common Mistakes

    • Flaring elbows outwards, which reduces tricep activation.
    • Using too much weight and losing control of the movement.

    Modifications

    • Use a lighter weight to maintain proper form if you're struggling.
    • Perform the exercise seated to provide more stability.

    Tips

    • Keep your elbows close to your head to isolate the triceps.
    • Control the weight throughout the movement to avoid swinging.
