    How to: Kettlebell Figure 8

    1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a kettlebell with both hands.
    2. Pass the kettlebell between your legs from one hand to the other in a figure 8 motion.
    3. Bend slightly at the knees and hinge at the hips as you transfer the kettlebell.
    4. Continue the figure 8 motion while maintaining a tight core and upright posture.

    Common Mistakes

    • Not engaging the core.
    • Rounding the back during the movement.
    • Using too much momentum rather than controlled motion.

    Modifications

    • Use a lighter kettlebell if new to the exercise.

    Tips

    • Maintain a neutral spine throughout the movement.
    • Engage your core as you pass the kettlebell through your legs.
    • Ensure smooth and controlled motion to prevent injury.
