Towel Side Push-up
How to: Side Push-up with Towel
Begin in a side plank position with your hand on the towel and your feet stacked.
Engage your core and lower your body by bending your elbow while keeping the towel gripped.
Push back up to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of reps.
Common Mistakes
Letting the hips sag.
Not lowering the body far enough.
Relying too much on the shoulders rather than the chest.
Modifications
Perform on your knees instead of your toes for less resistance.
Use a step or raised surface to reduce the intensity.
Tips
Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels.
Avoid letting your hips drop or pike upwards.
Focus on squeezing your chest muscles as you push up.
